The polytunnel arrived !! and the hoops are up !! |

Jock (on the right),aided by his collie Meg and Malcolm , put up the tunnel and waited for a calm day and four other helpers to put on the cover. |

A happy afternoon was enjoyed on the Primrose Walk
at Laide Community Woodland
at the beginning of the month,
with lots of entrants for the duck race.

Found a beautiful pipit's nest with 3 eggs in the grassy bank on the shore |

On Wednesday, 14th May Peter Cunningham, biologist
very kindly got out of his sleeping bag
to meet a small group of us at 5am
to walk us through the Laide Community Woodland
to hear and identify the early morning birds.
