September 2019

September proved to be warmer and sunnier than August giving us beautiful perfumes and colours and plenty of opportunity to be outside and in the water.

Little chick is growing up well and learning to take it easy,

learning the art of cleaning her feathers

and generally getting out and about more
with her two mums

What to do on Earth Strike Day on 20th September ?

light a fire and cook lunch outside, no fossil fuels in sight

Thank you Joe and Lesley for inviting us to share in your magical moments.

Poem of the month

We Are One

We are where we are, here and now.
No "one" is to blame.
As one we have moved together
not looking to the future.
Too consumed by our desires,
too blinkered to see what we are leaving behind.

But now, we know !
Now we can see and hear and taste and feel
our Mother's pain.
No more excuses please !!

It's up to us, the you, the me,
to move as one again in harmony
To care for our Mother Earth.
There is no other place to go.

Be still, let go of wanting, wanting, wanting.
We have enough and more to share.
Our Mother made it so.

We are one.
We are one love.
We are one heart beating together.
