When we moved to North Ronaldsay Malcolm promised me my own "Junie Space"

and this was it !

I was not overly impressed but thought ok we can do something with this, so we did.

Malcolm , Andries and Billy put on a lovely new roof and I learnt new skills in lime mortaring and lime-washing

and 

now here we have a beautiful space !!!!!

Junie's space for felting, being creative, quiet? or whatever

Wilma is wondering where she is going to have her snoozing spot

and a space for dancing !

complete with disco light ! yeh love it !

You've probably guessed by now that I love coloured, twinkly lights

simply loving my "Junie Space",

entry by invitation only, haha !

on the calmest evening I have seen since being here

reflection of the sun on the clearest of waters

and a solitary seal

 Hello everyone, welcome to our blog photos for May.

 The North Ronaldsay sheep always like to keep an eye on Wilma and I on our walks 

and as we walk past a Norse grave not far from the cottage, a piece of gruesome history !

Anne's little dog Teddy was due for a hair cut and seeing as the nearest groomer is a plane ride away a kitchen table session was the next best thing.

Meet Ronald the raven, with a name like that he just had to come and live on North Ronaldsay.

It's been lovely having our new-look medic back on the island to look after us all again this month, always smiling.

~~~~~~~

Friends from Norfolk made their first trip to North Ronaldsay this month and kept us entertained.

they loved the walks and the beaches

but not too sure about the fifteen minute flight,

 they'd never been on such a small plane before

nor watched a pilot clean his own windscreen !

just love the name of the plane,
