This month I have been enjoying the murmurations of the starlings
at around 4pm they all gather together for a natter and chatter about how their day has been

and stroking that velvety nose, sets me up for the day
Mr Blonde has a true Icelandic double winter coat so thick that no amount of wind, rain or hail bothers him

I love festive twinklies, well any time of year really, so set off to Kirkwall on Orkney Mainland on the little eight seater plane in search of magic moments
"Shearers" is one of the most wonderful grocery and hardware stores you could find and at this time of year they excel !
This Morris Eight was a complete rusty shell earlier in the year and has been lovingly restored and became one of the highlights of their display, on the upper floor !
I promised Malcolm that he could meet Santa this year, haha, and there he was in Shearers !
Well, there were actually several Santas of varying sizes, amazing 😊
